91约炮 Scholarships are awarded to students who are passionate about joining our learning community and will make a significant contribution to the life of the School. Scholarships are in high demand at 91约炮 and we especially welcome applicants who choose us as their first preference when applying through ACER.
2025 Scholarships on Offer
We are offering the following Scholarships for Year 7 2025: Academic, Merit, Ballet, Music, Means-tested. Scholarship candidates in all categories must sit an examination to be considered for a scholarship. The examination is conducted as part of the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) administered by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER).

Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships are offered for entry to Year 7 to students with proven academic excellence, an exemplary work ethic and the ability to make significant contributions to the life of the School.
These Scholarships:
- are offered as a result of the ACER CSTP test and a successful interview with the Principal
- may be Full or Part Scholarships for school tuition fees
- do not cover textbooks, uniforms, excursions, technology fees or individual subject fees

Merit/All-Rounder Scholarships
Merit Scholarships are offered for entry to Year 7 students who have the ability to make a positive and significant contribution to the life of the School. We expect them to have an exemplary work ethic, strong academic potential and be willing to participate in cocurricular activities and be socially aware.
These Scholarships:
- are offered following ACER testing and a successful interview
- may be Full or Part Scholarships for school tuition fees
- do not cover textbooks, uniforms, excursions, technology fees or individual subject fees

Dr Sue Morey AM Scholarship (Means-Tested)

Music Scholarships
Music Scholarships are offered for entry to Year 7, these scholarships:
- are offered following ACER testing, a successful interview and by invitation of performance in one instrument of choice, along with results in examinations in music at an appropriate level of competence
- may be Full or Part Scholarships for school tuition fees.
- do not cover textbooks, uniforms, private tuition, excursions, technology fees or individual subject fees
Music auditions will be held on Friday 16 February 2024.
The Music examination will consist of three parts: Performance, Interview and a 45-minute music aptitude and theory exam (Grade 2 AMEB equivalent).
- The following list should be used as a general guideline only to minimum levels of expected performance:
- Piano 鈥� AMEB Grade 5 Equivalent
- Strings 鈥� AMEB Grade 5 Equivalent
- Percussion 鈥� AMEB Grade 5 Equivalent
- Brass 鈥� AMEB Grade 3 Equivalent
- Voice 鈥� AMEB Grade 3 Equivalent
- Woodwind 鈥� AMEB Grade 3 Equivalent

Ballet Scholarships
Ballet Scholarships to our 91约炮 Dance Academy are offered for entry to Year 7, these scholarships:
- are offered as a result of a successful audition, ACER testing and interview by invitation
- may be Full or Part Scholarships for school tuition fees
- do not cover textbooks, uniforms (school or dance), private lessons, excursions, technology fees or individual subject fees
Ballet auditions will be held on Friday 9 February from 10.00am-12.00pm with a Ballet class followed by a Contemporary class. No preparation is necessary, but portfolios must be in by 4.00pm Monday 5 February (prior to the audition).
In addition there is an optional Dance Masterclass on Sunday 4 February at the 91约炮 Dance Academy that Ballet Scholarship applicants may wish to attend. It provides an opportunity to experience a class with our exceptional teachers and meet with Head of Academy, Ms Gilly Revie, prior to audition.聽

- Sunday 4 February 2024:聽 Dance Masterclass (optional for Ballet Scholarship applicants)
- Sunday 4 February 2024: Online ACER applications close at midnight
- Monday 5 February 2024: Ballet portfolios due by 4.00pm
- Friday 9 February 2024: Ballet auditions
- Monday 12 February 2024: Academic, Merit, Music and Dr Sue Morey AM portfolios due by 4.00pm
- Friday 16 February 2024: Music auditions
- Saturday 24 February 2024: ACER test held at 91约炮, 9.00am-12.00pm
- March/April 2024: Shortlisted candidates interviewed, scholarships offered
- Thursday 4 April 2024: ACER results available for parents to view online
Scholarship Fees
Australian Applications
聽A fee of $135 is paid online for Scholarships. This application fee allows you to apply for multiple scholarships at 91约炮.聽
Overseas Applications
A fee of聽$325聽is paid online for Scholarships. This application fee allows you to apply for multiple scholarships at 91约炮.
Closing Dates for Australian and Overseas Applications
Online registrations close at midnight on Sunday 4 February 2024.
Portfolios for Ballet Scholarships must reach 91约炮 by 4.00pm on Monday 5 February 2024.
Portfolios for Academic, Merit, Music and Dr Sue Morey AM Scholarships must reach 91约炮 by 4.00pm on Monday 12 February 2024.
Scholarship Conditions
- In all awards, the Principal reserves the right to offer Part Scholarships or to make no award at all.
- Scholarships are subject to annual review on the basis of the scholar鈥檚 performance over the year. Normally scholarships will continue to apply for the stated duration of the scholarship.
- A scholarship is provided for either full or part remission of tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship.
- A scholarship does not provide for the purchase of books, materials, uniforms and other day to day standard items of school requirement or activity.
- A scholarship does not provide for the costs of excursions, and other incidentals are not included.
- Scholarships are not transferable and apply only to the recipient鈥檚 education.
- A student who already holds a 91约炮 Part Scholarship may not apply again for a scholarship, except on a demonstrated 鈥渘eeds鈥� basis.
- Decisions communicated by the Principal are final. No correspondence will be accepted or entered into.
Award and Review
91约炮 Scholarships are awarded after the successful completion of the individual Scholarship application process. Acceptance of an Offer will require a 91约炮 Application Fee of $300 and payment of the $4,000 holding deposit confirming acceptance of the Scholarship.
All Scholarships are reviewed annually during an interview with a member of the School Executive. If the scholar is continuing to contribute to the life of the School and is making outstanding progress, their Scholarship will be renewed.
